Basti Grub‘s ‘Das Dschungel Orchester’ album is a fusion of afro-beat, jazz, latino and samba with minimal house beats. It comes in two parts; the first part is african orientated with the second taking on a 1930′s swing sound. Latino and balkan influences through rhythms and beats are also predominant throughout.
Full of great sounds, it works surprisingly well and is most apt for a gorgeous summers day.
