After some delay, Monday 8th February finally saw the full release of Fabric’s new compilation series ‘Elevator Music‘. It’s an original and exclusive collection of future bass.

“The warm fluid basslines of dark garage, the spacious precision of techno, the unabashed bolshiness of grime; the percussion led rhythm of funky house, the wanton bump of 2-step and the erratic fluorescent synthesized harmony of skweee are all constantly being harvested, peeled and juiced by a new wave of producers.”

In recent times the variety of 130-140bpm bass music has been receiving widespread appreciation. Tracks are being produced from a broad spectrum of sounds with precision and clarity, and accompanied by low frequency oscillations. Music that is emphasising the haptic dimension of sound so seldom consciously experienced.
