New York based producer FaltyDL aka Drew Lustman, former sushi chef, produces a technical garage sound. From the XLR8RTV artist insight he proclaims his love for jungle but found it too fast and careless to produce. This resulted in a slowing down to 130-135bpm – quoting Scott Garcia ‘It’s A London Thing‘ with its sexy shuffle and rhythm as a precedent of influence.
Here’s his recent remix of Mount Kimbie’s airy atmopsheric track ‘Serged’. Original mystic sounds but with rhythmic beats and bouncing bass, chopped up and arranged.
