Over the past two years I have been a resident dj for Simple Productions in Oxford. They organise monthly events during student term time and have had performances from the likes of Erol Alkan, T.E.E.D, Roska, Julio Bashmore and Hot City to name a few. The don Nico has also accommodated our Get Your Geek On events at his bar. Unfortunately I am moving away due to the completion of my degree and job in distant lands, but fond memories and friendships remain. The Simple Podcast series has recently begun and the second features some top tracks and chat from super residents Em Williams and James Weston followed by a mini-mix by myself and Nick Church (GYGO).

Heard this guy and his band live in Oxford over the weekend and they blew my mind.

His name is dEbruit, he is french but lives in London via the middle east and mixes up an exquisite blend of eastern influenced grooves infused with just enough bass and a little dash of hip-hop crunk. Absolutely delicious.
