Herbert’s back in full swing with this more restrained rhythmic romp than his recent radical One Pig album. Woooawoooa whirls, oozing organ and plenty of penging perc.

The second ‘Goom’ brings a bit of boom; with classic drum machine patterns and a swaying tail of tension through a resonating riff.

Usually it’s enough to share single sound from a new E.P, however KRL‘s forthcoming debut full four piece in December deserves a double. These two top tracks offer varying directions with a dash of what has become a familiar elements. Decay is a blissful beauty with love filled vocals floating you into a warm wonderland. Deep Down delivers a slightly grittier sound with a low pitched vocal sample and dark chords, which later builds with an acid edge. The remaining tracks are sample full supers, all in all, a cracking collection.
